A freelance writer from California, I began writing SEO and keyword optimized web content in 2007. I write on a wide variety of topics including social networking, writing, and interior design. In December 2009, I graduated from Tarleton State University with my B.A. in English, and a minor in history. I’ve attended, and graduated, from the Long Ridge Writers Group professional workshop and am currently pursuing my M.A in English at Tarleton, where the subject of my master’s thesis is Greek and Renaissance drama.
I’ve been an avid personal blogger since May 2003, when I began my first blog, cleverly named “ya don’t say…,” at blogspot. In 2005, I moved my blog to WordPress and have never looked back. Currently, I self- host three active blogs with the help of WordPress, write a plethora of content for popular websites, and am currently working on my first novel. Presently, I resides in a small town in Central Texas with my amazing husband, Matthew, my shih-tzu, Anakin, and a fussy tabby cat named Galileo.
Currently, I write for a number of online publications, including:
- Blissfully Domestic
- Suite101
- Demand Studios (for eHow, Answerbag, & Livestrong)
- Helium
